Design and Function Combine for Talent X’s New Office

April 20, 2022

Located in a heritage style building, Talent X’s new office space features a mix of original and contemporary style finishes creating the perfect juxtaposition of architecture and furniture. As a hybrid recruitment and consultancy agency with an aim to build overachieving teams, Talent X’s fit out has created an environment to foster success and support for their team and candidates. 

Natural light floods the open plan office, highlighting the signature painted brick walls and furniture pieces throughout. Using a mixture of Polytec Notaio Walnut, Shannon Oak and Laminex Milano Walnut finishes throughout the office, combined with the green walls, a biophilic design that reminds us of the warmth of nature is created. The interior features floor to ceiling glass walls allowing each area to flow into each other without clear or defined limits, creating fluidity within the office.

As you enter the space, our Tex lounges provide soft seating for visitors, encouraging a relaxed and informal atmosphere. Our Lennox storage units in a dual tone finish are placed facing opposite directions to divide the areas in a purposeful yet stylish way. 

Collaboration and teamwork is inspired through the multiple Flip tables that fill the open area. Offering complete mobility and functionality with their castors, our Flip tables allow the Talent X team to move and create their own work areas based on different needs and requirements. Our Keywork desk with a modesty panel is also featured in this space, allowing for more focused and task driven activities. 

Talent X have used our Swish height adjustable desks to promote employee health and wellbeing and to suit the varied working styles. In the main office, our Swish spine has been used offering practical storage which hides the foot of the Spine desk for a seamless finish. Paired with our Miro and Space task chairs, each office has been set up to promote comfort and productivity. 

Cohesive in theme, our Lennox units in matching finishes are featured through the entire office, from the open area to executive offices allowing ample storage. Minimalist in design with clean lines and matt black anodised handles, Lennox effortlessly integrates into all spaces within the Talent X office. 

Finally, the boardroom features our Benchwork table in Shannon Oak and black powder coated steel frame, offering a practical solution for formal and team meetings.

Talent X’s new office space considers the different working environments for the modern employee. Various settings are provided that focus on connection, collaboration and comfort by the curation of furniture and finishes.

Creating A Modern Office With BadgerFox

BadgerFox’s new office space successfully blends architecture and furniture through the building's historical exterior with a contemporary interior to create a functional and productive work environment.

Upon entry, our velvet charcoal corduroy Juna chairs are paired with a Wiz round table to create an informal meeting area that facilitates connection and collaboration for employees and customers alike. 

For more focused individual work, the main office features our Benchwork workstations, matched with Arc desktop screens, Miro task chairs and Globe mobile pedestals, offering employees a workspace that enhances productivity and employee wellbeing. 

The meeting room features our Oslo table with a custom shaped top and Juna chairs in charcoal, establishing an elegant meeting space.

Krost Seating Receives An AFRDI Green Tick

We’re thrilled to share that we have been awarded AFRDI Green tick certifications for a number of our seating products including:

The AFRDI Green Tick is a sustainability certification program developed by Furntech-AFRDI that focuses on embracing sustainable practices within the furniture manufacturing industry. Such practices involve waste minimisation and efficient use of raw materials to extend a product’s working life.

To achieve this certification, our Space, Future, Sonic, Hana, Alex, Kobi, Koko chairs were put through rigorous commercial testing, subsequently meeting all of the requirements of the AFRDI Standard 150:2012 Sustainability Standard - Commercial Furniture.

These chairs join the Benchwork, Keywork, Swish, Miro, and Noma, as our other already certified AFRDI Green products.

Obtaining these various certifications for our product range is part of an ongoing process to develop commercial furniture fit for all applications while minimising our impact on the environment.

Today and every day, at Krost, we are supporting R U OK? Day.

Now, even more than ever, people we know might be having a hard time. Do we know how the people in our world are really going? Sometimes it’s hard to tell. Keep reading to find out more about how you can start a conversation and help others.

Today is R U OK?Day – and a reminder we need to stay connected and make asking “are you OK?” part of our everyday. That way if someone we know is struggling with something big or small they’ll know we care.

When we genuinely ask, “are you OK?” and are prepared to listen to them about how they’re feeling and what’s going on in their life, we can help someone who might be struggling feel connected and supported, long before they’re in crisis.

Don’t wait until someone’s visibly distressed; make a moment meaningful today and ask “are you OK?”.

Meaningful moments to talk about life’s ups and downs are more likely to happen when we’re spending quality time together. Some good opportunities for talking include:

  • On breaks from work or study

  • When exercising together

  • When connecting or doing activities together online

  • When you’re spending time together socially

  • When you’re doing an activity side-by-side

  • When you’re sharing a meal

  • When you’re travelling together, even a short trip can be a good time to talk

To show our support and raise awareness, today, we’ll be sharing information and resources with our team and on our social media platforms that will help everyone make a moment meaningful by asking the people in your world how they’re really going.

We’re excited to share that we have joined the Big Walk for Little Kids walking challenge!

Starting yesterday, our team has committed to walk every day until the end of the month and raise funds to support kids impacted by cancer.

We would love your help. If you can, please support us to give Aussie kids impacted by cancer every opportunity to thrive. Every donation makes a difference and is greatly appreciated!

Every day, 2 Australian families are given the heart-breaking news that their child has cancer. The funds raised will help Camp Quality provide face-to-face support in hospitals, support families online, educate school kids about cancer to reduce bullying and send kids and their families to Kids’ and Family camp to give kids a chance to be kids again.

Simple Yet Elegant - FKW Chartered Accountants

August 4, 2021

Through classic finishes and a neutral colour palette, Melanie Redman Design have successfully transformed the office space of Flegg Kehlet Wagner Chartered Accountants into a contemporary and functional environment.

Cleverly segmented by our 4 way Benchwork workstations, the open office offers employees privacy through Local acoustic screens and individual storage with Globe mobile pedestals. 

Elegance and simplicity characterise the various meeting rooms defined by dark wooden tones and varying upholstery selection. The ‘Think Tank’, beautifully furnished with a Dart round table and Zorro chairs allows the team to gather for small informal meetings while the boardroom has been fitted with a large Dart rectangular table and black Marc chairs elevating the space with a luxe feel. 

Several breakout spaces were created for the team through low and high occasional seating options with our Cali chairs within the open office space and Indi stools overlooking the surrounding suburbs.

Oozing professional appeal, the executive office features our Merge corner workstation and return end pedestal perfectly complemented with a Marc high back chair. 

FKW Chartered Accountants’ new office expresses cohesiveness and has been carefully designed to create a productive workspace that incorporates modern aesthetics, comfort and practicality.

The Kingsmede team have successfully implemented a clean black and white colour palette that perfectly complements the natural lighting and green highlights situated throughout the space. 

The new office encapsulates the essence of a modern workspace characterised by black and white accents through our Keywork workstations and Zak chairs. Combining visual appeal with functionality, the open office is complete with Trak planters, Sparki in desk power and Globe pedestals for storage. 

Our Zak chairs and Halo tables are featured throughout the space and in all meeting rooms and boardrooms that vary in size and finish to create cohesive yet distinctive meeting environments.

An Office That Exudes Modern Appeal

Blending contemporary finishes with a unique design, EVY Professional’s new Melbourne office exudes modern appeal.

Upon entry, our Nest coffee tables in black stained wood welcome visitors while perfectly complimenting the surrounding interior finishes of the reception space

The office features light accents mixed with dark timber finishes as seen on our Elki workstations for more individual and collaborative work. Matched with Trak desk mounted rails, Trak open storage boxes, Trak acoustic and environmental panels, Space chairs and Globe mobile pedestals for storage, a workspace which enhances productivity and dynamism is created. 

Moving through the space, our Sofi ottomans in a trendy musk and lilac upholstery blend together to form soft seating areas for employees. Our Sofi ottomans are mobile in design, allowing staff to move and create their own work environment based on their needs and requirements. Custom joinery was crafted into the landscape throughout with integrated hinge door cupboards and a kitchen unit in Maison Oak Polytec finish. Functional additions of sleek built-in storage and fridge compartments ensure employees wellbeing is considered and established. 

The meeting room does not stray from the cohesive themes used throughout the open space. Featuring our Cosmopolitan round table and custom joinery cupboard, a contemporary environment is created, perfect for informal and formal settings.

With a focus on creating a modern functional working environment, the executive office features our Miro S Leather chair, paired with a built-in joinery unit fitting the interior effortlessly.  

The training room features a wall mounted cupboard in Estella Oak finish, enhancing the cohesiveness in the modern aesthetic seen across the office space.

EVY Professional’s new office space effectively establishes a contemporary working environment by the curation of furniture, finishes and aesthetic.
